On behalf of the Election Committee, we would like to congratulate newly elected Officers and Board Members!
The Election Committee, in agreement with the Bylaws, conducted the election process for the four executive committee positions, the five executive committee general officers, and the four members of the board of directors. At the General Assembly, 65% of the paid members were present. This meets the quorum requirement of fifty-one percent of members.
Each candidate was individually affirmed by the Election Committee chair. There were no opposing votes. No member of the Election Committee was a candidate for ANNS office and as directed by the Bylaws, the Election Committee has been dismissed since the new Board has been formed.
Each officer was awarded certificate by Tulasi Prasad Dhakal, given Tika by Mr. Surya B. Thapa and presented with flowers by Mrs. Shushma Thapa
