Greetings and welcome!
The Albany New York Nepalese Society (ANNS) is an independent and nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 to promote and preserve the cultural heritage and connect Nepalese individuals who share similar interests in the Capital Region, NY.
Before its inception, members of ANNS had been coordinating and organizing events collectively to bring Nepalese together throughout various social and cultural events. However, with the tremendous growth of Nepalese members in the community, a consensus of needing a formal association to properly manage all the community activities was reached. As a result, the constitution was drafted and bylaws established with the main objective of promoting the interest of Nepalese togetherness.
ANNS strives to preserve and foster the rich Nepalese cultural, traditional, and historical heritage through various social and cultural events throughout the year. ANNS is proud to have a very talented, supportive, and energetic member body, along with a brand new executive committee full of energy and enthusiasm to move forward with its objectives.
At last, we are pumped up to have the opportunity to work together as a community!!
Thank you.
