Welcome to the Albany New York Nepalese Society (ANNS) website. It is a great honor and privilege to serve as the President of this vibrant and growing community. Our society represents a diverse group of Nepalese families, students, and professionals who call the Capital Region of New York their home while remaining deeply connected to our roots, culture, and traditions.
The ANNS was founded in 2015, with the vision of bringing together the Nepalese community in the region, fostering unity, promoting our rich cultural heritage, and supporting one another. Through cultural celebrations, social gatherings, educational programs, and community service, we strive to strengthen our bonds and create a welcoming environment for everyone. Our community continues to grow, and with that growth comes greater opportunities to share our traditions, values, and contributions with the broader community. We are especially committed to engaging the next generation, so they remain connected to their heritage while thriving in their new home.
I would like to sincerely thank our members, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners whose dedication and support make our activities and programs possible.
